Should you find yourself dining at my favorite restaurant, Vietnam at 11th and Race, I heartily recommend #37. It was so good!

And apparently 12:30 is the time to hit the Constitution Center. Instead of being told to fill n all the seats in the auditorium, the six of us who were there for the show were asked to spread out so the actor doing the monologue would have someone to relate to as he turned around the room. We were betting on it being less crowded than usual as school has only just begun and it seems early for a class trip. There was a school group eating lunch on the steps but they had been through the center already. They must have also done the Ride the Ducks Tour since they all had plastic duck bills that made a loud honking noise when blown into. What a fun ride home that must have been! It was nice to go through the Constitution Center and see every single thing and spending as much time with the exhibits as you wanted to.

There was an email in Star's inbox from a small publishing firm in New York. They were asking to use one of her Flikr images in a book to be published in the fall. How happy would that have made her? Nodeva did all the fact checking and contract perusing and now it is a done deal. So come this fall, Artisan Books will publish a book about the Founding Fathers. In it will be this photo, courtesy of Star C. Foster. Pretty cool,no?. I hope she knows.

Last night as I watched the Super Bowl half time show, I couldn't help but think that Star would have loved it. It sparked a memory of all of us going to a concert at Vet's stadium. I am pretty sure it was The Who, and I think it was "The Kids Are All Right Tour". Sarcasdad & I were really into the show. I turned around to check out my kids, who in politically correct teenage behavior had seated themselves a few rows behind us. We had nosebleed seats. Anyway, I was short a head on the count. To my right, the next section over I saw Star. Dancing. Just dancing. With her eyes sort of closed and her arms at shoulder level and her hands near her head. She had danced her way over , and as she got to people, they got up and danced with her. She mingled a bit and moved on. At first I thought to call her back but there was something so joyous and pure about what she was doing, that I didn't. I just watched her. She went over a bit and down a few rows and then back up and returned to her seat. Just dancing. And the people danced with her.
